Being human is an art and you are innately capable of mastery. It's time to center yourself in your story & claim your calling.
i was born ready
The rest of your life starts now.
You were put on this earth with a purpose only you can fulfill, and you alone can claim your right to serve that purpose well.
The life you were called to live begins with accepting your belief in the unprovable and indisputable fact of your inherent worthiness.
By believing in what you cannot yet see, you unwrite the stories you tell that keep you small, and fearful, and dependent. And emancipate yourself from that I'll prove myself to you way of striving to the easeful abundance of living into your calling.
You're a creative force of genius. Whether re-writing the story of who you are to reflect what you were created for, or revising your creative-nonfiction essay collection, you're the expert. Me? I'm the expert listener, here to cup my ear to what you've been trying to tell yourself all along.
GREENS DRINKING, JESUS BELIEVING, ANTI-PERFECTIONISM ACTIVIST HERE FOR those "ugh-you're too deep" conversations that call you higher.
I'm a fourth-generation coastal small towner with a big-city calling and a heart that's always yearning to return home. I'm a fiercely independent go-it-alone kinda girl with a desire to sink my feet in the sand at a beach-house my one-day children will inherit....
I know, writers are about the details 🤓😉
Hyphenated first name. Madeline is my grandmother's name & I love getting to carry her legacy.
I'm from a coastal small town and after a time, came to find that while no where in the *literal* world will make me feel at home in the way the south shore of Long Island does, it's also true that I needed to leave to fully...become. You feel me?
A little bit of steamed milk (yes, like, the OG milk, from cows) steamed to perfection (not frothy) to cut the acidity of a strong 2x shot of espresso. Unless its humid. Then iced americano all the way.
I witnessed my grandmother do so much healing as she approached the end of her life and am a firm believer in the growth that is possible as we age.
I write on pieces of scrap, use voice-memos on the go, and have a notes folder in my iPhone to get sentences or paragraphs down. Bringing them all together is an intuitive process that I created structure around as I mastered it (& I teach you to do the same).
A little bit sad. A little bit of a teeny-bopper. A little bit Christian. Sounds about right.
